ALESSANDRA GAETANI
Alessandra Gaetani, graduated in law from the University of Milan, with a PhD in canonical and ecclesiastical disciplines – Philosophy of law (thesis title: “Freedom of religion and freedom of expression: an Islamic question?”) At the same university ; she is an adjunct professor at the University of Insubria (Como), in the course of religious rights and community and family mediation, master’s degree.
Scientific supervisor of the European Erasmus + project “Rights, duties, solidarity, European Constitution and Muslim Immigration” (triennium 2017-2019); she is a lecturer in humanistic mediation, a trainer of mediators in the Postgraduate Course in “Restorative Justice and Humanistic Mediation”; scientific coordinator of six International Summer Schools and Winter Schools in the field of Intercultural Mediation / Mediation of Conflict and Restorative Justice at the University of Insubria, Como.
She has developed research as a scholarship holder and as a research fellow in areas related to migration and social cohesion; she is a member of the teaching staff of the International Forum for Democracy and Religions “FIDR” and she is a lecturer in the inter-university national masters courses (Master in studies on Islam in Europe, University of Padua and FIDR)) and the international ( Master in Religions, Politics and Citizenship, University of Padua, FIDR, and the Instituto de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores de Granada).
