University Degli Studi Roma Tre – Link Campus University
September 29 – October 4, 2019
Rome, Italy

From September 29 to October 4, as part of the activities of the international project Primed – Prevention and Interaction in the Trans-Mediterranean space -, the University of Roma Tre in collaboration with Link Campus University organized a study trip to Rome, which saw the participation of about forty students selected from the partner universities of the project.
The students were led to the discovery of the places of religious diversity in Rome, in a journey that saw them participate in first person of the dynamics through which the processes of interaction and integration take place.
Seven countries were represented by the participants: in addition to Italy, there were students from
Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, Chad, Tunisia and Egypt.

“At the end of the study trip, participants developed a manifesto that starts with a few key words to describe their experience and ideas about multiculturalism and religious diversity.”

Article recounting the study tour published in the December 2019 issue of Confrontations, a monthly magazine that focuses on religious pluralism, politics and culture.
