Roberta Ricucci is Associate Professor at the University of Turin, dept.
of Culture, Politics and Society, where she teaches Sociology of Inter-ethnic Relations and Sociology of Islam.
She is also Research Affiliate at the Center for the Study of Religion and Society of the University of Notre Dame (US), Senior researcher at FIERI and member of the international networks IMISCOE (international Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion).
As expert in several issues concerning migration in the Mediterranean areas, she is currently leading various international projects.
She has a wide record of publications, both in English and Italian, focussed on migration, school integration, immigrant children and second generations, identity-building process and religion.
Among her publications: Second generations on the move in Italy (Lexington 2014); The New Southern European Diaspora (Lexington 2017).
